He inspected the shrine along with the district and temple officials and went around the holy tank, temple tank and other lands belonging to the temple till late evening.
The CM also held a review meet with officials of rural water supply, roads and buildings, revenue and endowment departments. He instructed the local body authorities not to issue permission to multi-storied buildings within a radius of 1,200 metres from the temple complex.
The height of the buildings within this radius should be restricted so that they do not stand taller than the ‘rajagopuram’ of the temple,” he said.
